The fundamental aim of spiritual faith is to rise above our physical consciousness. We need to throw away the idea that our physical being is doing everything. If we think that our physical self is doing the work, it is not spiritual faith but self-discipline. When you feel the necessity to become a certain way or achieve certain results, that is also self-discipline. Spiritual faith, on the other hand, means to re-enter our divine source, the divine mind of the universe. The ‘you’ that appears physically is not really a physical individual, but a branching out of divine life—a ray of the one great, bright, universal light, appearing in this world because it has work to do. Your physical consciousness does not have to make the world peaceful, nor does it have to awaken itself. All that your physical consciousness needs to do is to enter the great divine light through prayer for world peace. This is the most important thing to do. Afterward, you will find that out of that great light, your true self, which existed long before your physical body did, is revealing itself now through your physical being. Therefore, all you need to do from the physical side is to ‘flick the switch’ for entering the divine mind. This is what I call ‘complete entrustment.’
