Just because you tell people to become more open and acceptant of truth, it does not mean that they will be able to do it. Those who can are people who were born with this ability. Qualities like acceptance of truth, gentleness, brightness, and courage derive not from one’s present consciousness, but from experiences that one had in past lifetimes. When we think about this, we can make up our minds to spend our present lifetime settling our spiritual debts from the past—which is what I call ‘fading away’—while at the same time building up our spiritual savings for the future. So, no matter how much pain and agony you might have had in this life, in the long run it is not so considerable. Keep your thoughts pure and clean; let your true mind shine, no matter how miserable your circumstances are. This is of great importance.
