144.
In general, the distinctions people make between good people and bad people, or likable people and dislikable people, are based on their own emotions. They seldom see a truly good person as good. For them, a good person is someone who serves their interests and a bad person is someone who does not. They gauge everything by their own interests. As long as people keep thinking this way, the world will never be at peace. But since this kind of attitude is difficult to get rid of, what can people do? I suggest that, at the moment when such feelings emerge, we regard them as being in the process of fading away. All occurrences, feelings, thoughts, and circumstances—good and bad alike—should be directed straight into the waves of a world peace prayer, such as ‘Fading away—May peace prevail on Earth.’ Within those waves, all things will be purified by the great divine light that is guiding and protecting humanity. Practice doing this over and over again, and it should give you a clean, sparkly feeling.
