A Message to Brighten Tomorrow / Written by Masami Saionji

There are quite a few people in the world who are crushed by an inferiority complex, timid, or weak-willed.

Inferiority complexes can stem from various aspects such as body shape, facial features, background, family, possessions, or even accents.

When one has an inferiority complex, it always becomes a hindrance, preventing them from interacting with others on equal terms.

Even when one wants to express their opinion, the inferiority complex flashes through their mind,

"Oh, I'm not worthy of giving an opinion on this,"

and they hesitate. Even if that opinion is a good one based on their own experiences and persuasive to the other party, they still falter.

"Don't do anything you're not worthy of. You're not in a position to compete with others. Stay silent. Stay back."

They end up restraining themselves. Repeating this behavior makes social interactions burdensome, and they end up withdrawing into their shell.

Thus, when an inferiority complex occupies your mind, you end up pushing yourself into a situation where you can never voice your correct opinions for life.

Timid people, on the other hand, are always nervous and hesitant in everything they do.

This is different from an inferiority complex; these people lack self-confidence.

They always want to rely on others.

When relying on others becomes a habit, this nervousness and hesitation never go away for life.

The same applies to weak-willed people.

When you get down to it, people with inferiority complexes, timid people, and weak-willed people are all negative thinkers.

They judge things pessimistically.

They also become overly self-conscious, thinking others view them negatively.

In contrast, those around them do not really care about the things these people are fixated on.

Therefore, those struggling with inferiority complexes, timid people, and weak-willed people must first discard the idea that others are paying attention to them.

People are not that free nor that interested in you.

If you have outstanding talent or make great inventions and discoveries, people might be interested, but if you are an ordinary person, they are not that concerned.

You are merely struggling, suffering, and writhing alone.

People with inferiority complexes, timid people must escape such situations as soon as possible.

To do so, they must not run away.

When an inferiority complex flashes through their mind, they should brush it away, summon courage, and confront the situation without fleeing.

Even if they fail, feel embarrassed, or humiliated, they must keep challenging themselves.

Repeated challenges will become their weapon, reducing their anxiety and fear, and transforming them into strong individuals who can interact with others naturally.

People struggling with inferiority complexes, timid people, and weak-willed people are all those who try to escape from their situations.

They devise various strategies to escape and make excuses to themselves to justify their escape.

As long as they create such situations, they can never escape from their inferiority complex.

With courage, they must not flee but push forward.

If they push forward, a path will surely open.

With courage, they should face challenges with an honest heart without hiding themselves.

That is the key.
