What I consider important is the spontaneous reaction that springs up from your heart. Train yourself so that you can quickly strike out emotions like jealousy, hatred, and dissatisfaction, that pop up all of a sudden. I have closely observed my own feelings to see what emotions arise, and have found no traces of jealousy, complaint, or dissatisfaction arising at all. I find myself accepting everything with a bright and positive feeling. Our aim should be to let our true, divine self shine through in any situation, however unexpected. Fear, though, is awfully hard to get rid of.
That’s why I suggest that you treat all your thoughts and emotions as vanishing images, and cleanse and purify every nook of your subconscious. When you do, your divine light will always shine through, even in unexpected situations.
